My week started cohosting the Power of Purpose in Business Radio program with Nathan Mitchell on Sunday night. Our guest was my good friend Mitch Counce, who is CEO of Servi-Tech, Inc. Servi-Tech has been a client of mine since 2007. Mitch talked about how they have implemented the principles from my book, Riding for the Brand: The Power of Purposeful Leadership to transform their company. The bottom line results are a 50% increase in revenue over the last five years. Keep in mind that has been during the worst economy our nation has experienced since the Great Depression.
Mitch also talked about a new initiative they are launching called MP2. What is MP2? Well, Servi-Tech’s purpose is to make the planet more productive. Food production will have to double to feed the 9 billion people who will inhabit our planet by 2050. You’ve heard of the old theory of relativity: E=MC2. Well, the new theory of reality is E= MP2. Translated that means Everyone will have to help Make the Planet More Productivity.
